Europe has a dependency problem

Critical infrastructure depends on US clouds.

Public administrations, schools and companies need digital workplaces. At the same time, regulatory pressure, lock-in risk and integration effort keep increasing.

01

GDPR, NIS2 and supply chain security

New requirements demand data sovereignty and traceable supply chains. Many US SaaS stacks can only support this with limitations.

02

Vendor lock-in as a single point of failure

Dependencies on US providers create operational, financial and strategic risks for entire organizations.

03

Open Source existiert, Integration fehlt

The building blocks exist. What is missing is coherent managed operations with shared identity, networking and an AI fabric.

The sovereign agentic workspace

AUTARQ Desk combines openDesk with sovereign AI.

A fully integrated workplace: files, projects, knowledge, mail, calendar, SSO and AI agents. Hosted in Germany. Designed to be 100% sovereign.

openDesk foundation

Sovereign collaboration as the foundation.

The proven openDesk components are delivered as a productive, managed stack.

  • Nextcloud for files and collaboration
  • OpenProject for tasks and project management
  • XWiki as a structured knowledge base
  • Open-Xchange for mail, calendar and contacts
  • Nubus IAM as the central IAM for all applications

OneAI

OneAI directly in the workspace.

Sovereign AI is not bolted on, but deeply integrated into data, identity and workflows.

  • Multi-model access to GPT-OSS, GLM-5.1, Qwen, Mistral, Llama and more models
  • AI agents for document and knowledge workflows
  • Integrated AI access to knowledge, files and internal sources
  • EU/Germany infrastructure: data does not leave Europe
  • Integration with central Nubus IAM

OneAI

Private AI without new lock-in.

Switch models per use case. Data stays in Europe.

OneAI provides multi-model access, agents, integrated knowledge access and native SSO integration for organizations that want to use AI productively without tying their data and identity to a US SaaS stack.

Not just hosting. One shared platform.

AUTARQ brings together identity, networking, service catalog and AI fabric. The result is a sovereign workspace that grows with the organization.

One identity

Central IAM for all services.

Based on Nubus: one central place for identities, roles and access across workspace, AI and add-ons.

Integrated AI

AI agents understand organizational data.

OneAI connects directly to knowledge, files and identity. Knowledge access and agents are native to the stack.

Private network

Secure access from anywhere.

Organizations can optionally add a private encrypted WireGuard-based network for secure service access.

Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions about AUTARQ Desk.

The key answers on sovereignty, AI models, SSO and hosting — concise and without marketing fluff.

What is AUTARQ Desk?

AUTARQ Desk is a fully managed sovereign workspace for organizations in Europe. It bundles openDesk (files, mail, calendar, projects, knowledge), OneAI (agents and knowledge access), Nubus IAM as the central identity and access management layer and optionally a private encrypted network into one integrated service — hosted in Germany.

Is AUTARQ Desk GDPR compliant?

Yes. All services and data are hosted in Germany and the EU and never leave Europe. The infrastructure is designed for GDPR and NIS2. Since no US SaaS components are part of the mandatory stack, there are no Schrems II risks in the data flow.

Which AI models are available in OneAI?

OneAI provides multi-model access to open-source and open-weights models like GPT-OSS, GLM-5.1, Qwen, Mistral, Gemma and Llama. All models run on EU and DE infrastructure. Integrated knowledge access and agents are built in natively, and model selection per use case is possible.

Does AUTARQ include central IAM?

Yes. Nubus IAM is the central identity and access management layer for the entire workspace. Users, roles and access are managed in one place.

Where is data hosted?

AUTARQ Desk is hosted exclusively in Germany and the EU — for example at Hetzner or IONOS, on request also on-premise. There is no data flow to the United States.

How does AUTARQ differ from openDesk?

openDesk is the open-source foundation. AUTARQ adds managed operations, OneAI, a dynamic service catalog with add-ons (Relution MDM, Zammad, Autarq Agents, Custom Helm), a private mesh network and clear product packages. Instead of building blocks, organizations get an operational service.
